Position: Independent Academic Writer

Location: Remote (Ghana-based preferred)

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Job Summary:

ApplyUni Abroad is seeking the services of an experienced Independent Academic Writer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for editing, proofreading, reviewing, and assisting applicants in crafting compelling Statements of Purpose, Letters of Motivation, and Resumes.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive editing, proofreading, and review services for application materials submitted by ApplyUni’s clients.
2. Assist applicants in crafting persuasive Statements of Purpose, Letters of Motivation, and Resumes tailored to their academic and career goals.
3. Ensure all application materials adhere to high-quality standards in terms of grammar, syntax, clarity, and coherence.
4. Collaborate effectively with ApplyUni’s team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
5. Maintain open communication with clients to address any inquiries or revisions promptly.
6. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., English, Literature, Communications, etc.).
2. Proven experience in academic writing, editing, and proofreading, preferably in the context of university applications or similar documents.
3. Excellent command of the English language, with strong writing and editing skills.
4. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
6. Familiarity with the academic application process and requirements for international universities is a plus.
